I used the strainer. U never used that? Quite good I must say.

Oh, i was referring to the box of screws and bolts. My plumber didn't use it for the installation. Did yours?

You are right about the strain basket, very well made. I love the trivet too. Fortunately my tabletop has a bit of protruding edge to hide the underside silicon and yet is wide enough to insert and remove the trivet.

He had bought the holder together with other stuffs, as such, the shipping will be rough guide. Best advise to you will be order more stuffs and ships into SG, more effective that way. The shipping charges will not be more than usd15 if just the holder alone.

His ceiling fan is from Haiku. Currently OOS, price will be going up, at 1k range. I bought mine at high 600+ range if I remembered correctly.

If I rem correctly, I had shipped back 5pcs of holder at roughly sgd22/pcs. KDK is good for its durability, of cos design wise, pretty standard. Im not into ceiling fan so I cant comment much. I bought Haiku mainly of 1)design & outlook 2)colour(black/white/bamboo) 3)low noice level(very impt especially when it is on while watching movie during night time) 4)energy saving(it is good in my opinion)

LIGHTING

We shipped back most of the lightings from Taobao, all LED lights for 5 room HDB, approximately close to SGD1k.

This inclusive of 1 crystal pendant light at S$200 (cost of light, exc freight)for MBR, a pendant light at dining area S$250 (cost + frt). The rest are normal round shape LED lights.

$22 is per pc of holder (cost plus shipping) but bear in mind that he shipped a lot of other stuff so the shipping cost is much reduced. I think you better get from Howard if u are only getting 1 pc from Amazon.

For my cloth hanger, I got all from IKEA. $1 for 4 pcs! Looks good too... :dribble:

For my lights, I rather get Brand name cos it is plug to electrical socket and I don't want a risk where short circuit may happen... I'm an engineer so I don't take risk. Especially electricity...

For my LED, it is all OptiLED. Ceiling lights are all from Philips. Add together is around 1.2K ba... I can't remember.

Ikea hangers are genrally fine since they are cheap when seen on strike, however, uses them on heavy clothing, it will wrap out of shape over the time. That is my personal experience.

Like Kim, I will go for well-known brands for lighting. My Leds/T5 etc are from Philips.
