There is some sort of a feet at the bottom of the colander right? If I throw cooked spaghetti in, do you reckon the pasta may stick out from the hole / touch the sink?

Yup it has very small feet underneath so the spaghetti may stick out … I was planning to hold it by the handle over the sink and one hand holding the saucepan …I think there is a version that is meant to hang over the sink but not necessarily from Joseph Joseph...

Oh yes, I think i saw those expandable ones that can hang over sink.

eh, just a caution, the collapsible one from joseph joseph doesn't have a lot of good reviews - i was going to buy that one until i saw many negative reviews...

just to revive an older discussion on nespresso capsule holders, came across this:

Sorry to hijack your thread kim, but I have a noob question.

Do the electronics sold online come with international warranty?

If not, what happens if the items arrive damaged or not working?

And I need recommendation for a audio system please..

I'm looking for a 5.1 system for the living room, together with an amplifier.

The reason is cos I visited my friend who has this set up and I thought it was not bad.

I like to have the surround sound effect when watching movies.

I think he got the whole set up for 1.8k from Harvey Norman. Not very high end but I think it is good enough.

Was thinking I can probably find something similar but cheaper on Amazon?

I have budget constrain so a penny saved is a penny earned!

I'm a noob in such area so all suggestions are welcomed!

Vornado fan. I had to ask Hopshopgo to purchase for me as Vornado website dun accept Singapore Credit card.

Fan: USD$79

Purchasing admin charge: USD$8

Shipping: USD$70 per fan

Total cost = S$200 (Home DIY is more than $400)

But I need to buy step down transformer for the fan. Cost S$23.50 for 1 transformer.

learn and adapt, $ for $, can be tidy as neat as possible I thought of Soundbar too, but since I want better return on $$ vested, went for HT instead. Never look back
