Heh ... i always think its the photographer not the equipment. haha maybe GND filters etc then really need B+W stuff.

i think i can only utilise 10% of my D600's potential anyway so no need too good equipment.

hmm maybe i look for an external mike to see if can reduce AF sound during the HD video recording. wonder if amazon got discount for that. looking now...

GND filters should go for Lee Filters... Unless you want variable GND...

Wah... Bought a D600 ah?? How's the camera performance? Er, with D600, your equipment has to be good, if not flaw of the lens will be easily pinpoint out by the cam body...

i've been using hoya filters ever since i started shooting in my teens... the only criteria is that it shouldn't change the colour of my pictures...

if it's good enuf for my dad, it's good enuf for me...

I used to have Hoya filters, lately have been using B+W... My Hoya polariser filter died on me in Alaska , so now my polariser is B+W. Maybe the Hoya cannot take the cold in Alaska!!

My IR filter is still Hoya... Haiz, with current crop of cam bodies, hard to do IR photography. So it's not really in use lately.

But seriously my 60L dry cabinet is fully stuffed! I need another 60L to organise my stuff... Which is why everything is on hold. Don't want to get the other dry cabinet yet!

Oh, those roller bags... If you add in shipping and GST and exchange rate... You might not really save, unless you happened to be in US. Take airport security v2, amazon is 394.75 * 1.25 ex rate = 462.19, add in shipping charges (since it's not sold by Amazon, no free shipping) and GST, will be 500plus... TK selling at SGD519. Not much of savings lah.

You can try Foscam or Dlink. For indicative prices, in SGD, try HWZ's sub forum PC Show 2013 on recent promo.

Personally, I don't find it cheap to buy off Amazon or Taobao, those sold locally during shows are competitive.

I am going to Shanghai next week and thinking I might check out the cams while there coz the Foxcam F18910W was selling at $125 at the PC show and the prices I saw on taobao for this model is about 400 rmb. But goodness, I just spent a good 30 minutes trying to find out the shops in Shanghai that carry this product without success. Guess I should just hit the IT Malls in Shanghai?
