Yeah, then if anything goes wrong can backfire loh, "you agreed what!"

Seem like u are familiar with the blaming game... :sport-smiley-004: :sport-smiley-004:

Last time I got 2 carpets, after putting for 1 mth, I kept in the store room for 8 yrs and then before moving house, I threw them away. Now, I seen so many nice carpets, I wanted to buy but then my husband disapproved, he said don't buy and keep in store room. The reason why I keep in store room is because I cannot have a PT cleaner. :~ So, all ur wives are very fortunate, got helper so they will sure agree to let you guys buy.

errrr.... Only ONGCS got part time cleaner. I had to clean myself, me and I :sport-smiley-003: :sport-smiley-003:

Erm...only I mentioned I got PT helper, not sure about the rest. :D But again, if you wanna buy, and you are cleaning it should be fine right? :sport-smiley-004::notti:

Imagine every week have to vacuum, then lift it up, sweep/vacuum the floor, then mop the floor then put the carpet back. I'm old le, can't do heavy house work, wait till my boy grow older then I can task him to do then I buy. :sport-smiley-004: I think I will stick to simplicity.

maybe you can try to split up the tasks, those for weekly and those can be done in 2 weeks interval. I hired the helper on 2 week basis, she is tasked to clean heavy duties, ie; toilet, windows, mop the floor, ironing(supply her with 2 weeks worth of clothings).

Weekly, I will still mopped the floor on mid week with medium hot water, the floor will be cleaner that way. My missus will use 3m scotch brite cleaner, to pick those small particles very 3-4 days basis.

So you can hire a helper on 2 weeks basis for heavy chores, as a result, you spend quality time with your boy.

i'm also thinking of me cleaning it so i'm choosing the carpet fibre that will be easy on maintenance...

i'm planning to hire a PT helper every 2-3 weeks to do thorough cleaning, including the carpet bit but every week, i will still do a once-over of the house i.e. toilet, vacuum, mop floor, ironing (maybe :sport-smiley-018:) cos i cannot stand having dust around the house ... :P

eh ong, what is the market rate for a PT helper to come every 2 weeks ah ? charge by hour ?

by hour, 10-12/hr, do not over pay more than that, unless they are experienced, can go up to max 15/hr I heard.

I can't stand any dust too, but my current plans work well at the moment. So can spend more time with missus & folks(visit them often over the weekends, they stayed 2 main traffic junctions away from me only). Can you imagine, doing the chores, end of the day, got strength to leave the house for other stuffs? :o

this chair i would not advise to buy - only 5 reviews so far, 3 are empty reviews, one from a HK buyer goes:

椅子好重夠手感! 木料造功質素一流有驚喜! 油漆則一般, 有點瑕疵. 此價格, 滿足矣. 另外, 必需一讚這裡的客服~

chair is heavy and feels good ! wooden construction is surprisingly good ! paint job is only so-so, is flawed, but for the price, is ok. also, the customer service is commendable

the other review is only about the delivery being split ...

i thought i saw this chair at lush-lush too - they're having 30% sale until end of this month...if the price is <SGD200, i would say get it from there instead of shipping in ...

i took a quick look at the others - no reviews at all, if it were me, i would not buy them ... try to find similar ones but with reviews will be safer... :sport-smiley-018:

Dragonnite,

How about this table ??

Vanessa, I think this seller is safer. At least they sold quite a few for the past month. And they got the 80cm ball :sport-smiley-004: :sport-smiley-004:

But your shipping will prob cost quite a bit.

Update

Sorry, i am a blur sotong, why do you say shipping will cost a bit? you mean with Daigou?

Haaa... Not a bit... it is quite a bit.... That means a very big bit...

Imagine, 80cm diameter ball plus packaging will be around 100cm. Volume is 1 cubicmetre. :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

If u go by 65diagou, they will calculate volumetric weight (100x100x100)/6000= 166kg :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

By sea it will cost = $5.7 + ($1.1x331) = $369.80 :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

Totally not worth it.....

If by Amcon will be 550rmb = $110... much cheaper...

How much local charge?
