Conversion Of False Ceiling To L Box

Thinking of removing my current false ceiling in living and dining area and install L box. Is it possible not to remove the false ceiling and cut them to become L box instead? Below the false ceiling there's cornices. Need advice on:

1. If false ceiling has to be removed, any removal cost involved?

2. How much is the installation of L box (min & max)?

3. Any recommendation for down lights & cost?

4. Need to install fan also

Hi Juliet

1) Since u wanna change ur false ceiling to L-Box, the contractor usually won't charge u for the removal of false ceiling.

2) If for ur living n dining, it may cost u about $1000+ to $2000+.

3) If u want i can bring u to my fren's lightings shop.

4) As for fan, itz just cost u a little sum of money 😝

L-Box in living

False Ceiling in dinning

False ceiling at passage way to rooms

False Ceiling in master bed
