~Beautiful Cozy Simplicity~

Recommended Posts

Shopping time with ID to settle sinks and taps.

Nice tap for my industrial theme... Would love to try them but sticking to more conventional type. Wifey only allows the industrial for living room & WIW. I believed Pinkwhale also posted these taps but she gotten hers through online.

My normal looking kitchen tap, looks kinda matt and should go well with the sink & white colour kitchen scheme...

My industrial steel kitchen sink (under-mount) ID informed that my kitchen aint that big and cannot accommodate a BIG sink. Sigh! Can only get a singular squarish type...

Uniform looking taps for both toilet sink.

As for the toilet sinks, we based on pictures and dimensions since we cannot find one that my ID wanted. Due to the tall sink, we have problem finding a TALL tap. So ID decided to rectify this by getting a normal length tap and we shall see the end result. Will let him have free rein on this coz I like his toilet design / concept :good:

Only furniture that I bought was a TV console. Sofa, coffee table, dining table and chairs have not settled yet.

My ID is quite relaxed after I told him that I will be getting my dining light in Bangkok in July. Just let him know and will send the electrician to fix it for me. :thumbs up:

We are not in a hurry to move in so it is better the renovation is done up slow but in a proper manner.

This is one of my consideration, hoping to get a good deal during GSS.

I'm getting lazy, can even see that I dint update the Day XX of renovation.

City Gas has arranged to fixed the piping for heater and dryer. There were two of them and took about 1 hour to get it done.

p1040152s.jpg

At the same day, there were two workers painting the whole flat. The city gas guy suggested to fix the piping and to settle the heater first. I have not bought my top load washing machine and advised me to fix the dryer at a later date because the wall has not been yet.

Final product

The copper piping have been painted white by the painters :thumbs up:

Trying to catch up with my updating of my T-blog.

Bomb shelter wall has been painted black instead of trying to hide it. (Original colour is white) ID's idea of industrial theme instead of trying to hide the door

p1040165q.jpg

Painter did his best not to paint the sticker on the back of the bomb shelter

p1040166x.jpg

Pondering to do a blackboard instead of just plain black matt door

Still sourcing for lobang to install window for service bay.

To cut the story short, WIW lights are up as well as ceiling fan for master bedroom.

We need lot of storage space so utilised all the bottom and top area. We are using Blum for our drawers. Actually, we wanted a pull out cabinet but ID has designed something similar. Will post pictures another day.
