forforum 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2012 I searched here, seems like all only Aafrenz mattress was discussed before, but not their bedframe.We went to the expo yesterday for the furniture show. The storage bedframe from this company got us interested. The person told us that they do customisation. They will come to our house for a site visit for measurement, then will, based on our preference, come out with the overall design. Once we confirm, then they manufacture.He also sais that they don't do retail, only come to this show upon request from the organizer. Hence, they don't have any namecard, or brochure to give us. The price quoted was $1699 nett, with genuine high quality leather, or high quality fabric from Belgium. But after the show, no more such price. If our house not ready, can even sign and pay 30% deposit, the waiting period can be as long as 24 months. Warranty is 12 years.We were relly tempted but still hold on. I remember that I saw their retail shop at NorthStar though I never visited the shop. Just want to check, if anyone here did customized bedframe from Aafrenz before? How's the quality? Service? Ann1 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2012 Bought the storagebed n slumberland tempsmart from them for 2kplus. Very very disappointed with their delivery... Promised to deliver between 12-5pm on sat. Waited..... Waited...Finally before 6 pm mattress arrv but not the storage bed n frame. Have to call them many times. Later said ok will deliver 6-8. Waited till 8pm plus still no sign. Called them again... Said another half n hour. Finally they arrv at 9.25 pm. Wasted my entire afternoon just waiting for the delivery. Was planning to go out for dinner but hv to cancel everything. I wont recommend anybody to them . Its the worst delivery ever.....i am not blaming on the delivery guy. They r nice. The company shld focus on their scheduling n logistic. Now after installing the storage frame....the back panel sheet torn n want it to be changed...Ehm... Dont know when they will change it n hope next delivery shld be within the schedule. I thought their price was good, and the workmanship at the showroom was good enough. Boy I was wrong.They promised delivery within two weeks. One week before delivery, they called and asked me for one-week extension. I thought, okay, fine, so long as they can deliver the goods well.The night before the new delivery date, they called and said they can come around between 1-4 pm. I asked if they can come in the morning, but they said they couldn’t, so I said, ok, fine, 1-4 pm….At 9 am on the morning of the delivery, one guy called me and asked whether they could come in the morning. I was happy to hear that, so I said yes. He told me he would call be back as soon as they had loaded the vehicle. Once I put down the phone I quickly scrambled to tidy up my room for the workmen to work in.I waited until morning turned to noon, and I heard nothing from them. I called the fella, and he said he was not sure at what time the delivery would come. I berated him badly for not calling me earlier to inform me of this change, and asked him to call the deliverymen to ask them for the delivery timing. He said they didn’t have their handphone number. Uh…… WHAT?!?!?!?At this point I was so angry I hang up on him. One second longer on the phone, and I would have cursed him to kingdom come. So I waited until 5 pm.And of course, as you may guess, the delivery people didn’t show up. We called them, and now they said that the deliverymen would come at 6. 6 o’clock came. And we waited….. until they finally showed up at 6.15 pm. Okay, fine, they already wasted my whole day, so what’s another 15 minutes?And guess what? They delivered the wrong colour scheme. We called the shop to complain, and the guy on the phone told the deliverymen to pack up and leave. The guy then told us that he would consult his boss tomorrow and get back to us on this matter.Right now I’m extremely cynical about whether anything good is going to come of this. I’ve already wasted one day of my life to them, and I already have white hairs on my head. I can demand them to take back wrong goods, but I cannot get a refund for my life.Bottom line: if you value your life and happiness….. stay away from Aafrenz. They are the dealers, they have lot's of goods to make and i'm sure there will be some mistakes some where. And for delivery side, i doubt you will be the only customer that they are delivering the goods to you on that day. Actually you have to spare a thought for others, what if you are the boss and this things happen to you? I just bought my mattress and bedframe , i dont see any problems with the delivery side as well. Just for sharing! Cheers.My negative experience with Aafrenz. Still got more parts.Part II: The following week, they sent the wrong colour scheme again. We rejected the delivery..... again.We called the dealer, the dealer apologized profusely to us. He promised he would personally go down to the factory to check on our bed. Okay, fair enough. Then one day before, we contacted him again, and he promised us that he really did go down to the factory to check.Part III: Last Saturday was the new delivery date. We were all pumped up about getting our new bed after TWO FAILED DELIVERIES.And what do you know..... WRONG COLOUR SCHEME AGAIN!!!!And this time when we tried to contact our dealer, he evaded all our calls. And when we contacted his colleague, the fella explained that our dealer never actually went down to the factory..... all he did was to call the factory and get a verbal assurance from them.Ah hello..... 'Personally going down to the factory' is not the same as 'call the factory', okay?In the end, I gave up on my dealer and went through another person. Now they promise they will send me the right bedframe tomorrow.Seriously, I am feeling very cynical.
