cj07 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2012 Laminate doors are good, right? Can choose whatever laminate.... I like it too cos it's more unique. 😉Yes! Laminate doors are good and unique. Andrew suggested that I get laminate doors, similar to what you had, because he saw that we had a hard time deciding on the veneer doors. Haha... that was a superb suggestion by him. I seen all types of doors but none is what I like so he told me whether I want laminated door. And knowing it can be custom made to any designs to whatever laminate, I know other types of door will not do. Hehe....

Laminated doors can have so many different design combinations such that each door can be unique. I dun think I will ever choose veneer doors again..

battle 0 Report post Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) Hi battle,Thanks. Actually I am done shopping already. This is like a re-cap of what happened. Remember to upload more photos once your reno starts.Sure Will have to remember to shoot the BEFORE and AFTER photo :sport-smiley-004:Notice you are using granite sink. Do remember never ever to pour hot oil (not even a tea-spoon) as it will stain the sink. (happen to my mum's granite sink, tt time cook liao, thought just pour a little bit away should be ok, but who knows, stain, dam ugly, but have to live with it) Edited February 29, 2012 by battle

Guess I better be careful with the hot oil. That means more steps to clear the oil after cooking.. yup, you should take the BEFORE and AFTER photos. The difference will be so significant. adidaem 6 Report post Posted February 29, 2012 The price is not too high I feel.. if you take into account the u.ni.que of the door. My bedroom doors are laminate doors too. But to go with the overall minimalist design of my place, they are plain white laminates as proposed by my IDs. It's kinda not noticeable, but I guess that was the intent. Now that I have them (the doors), I have to agree that re-using the original doors would have totally spoilt the look. But we went thru some angst during renovation cos of the cost.
