Andrew suggested that I get laminate doors, similar to what you had, because he saw that we had a hard time deciding on the veneer doors. Haha... that was a superb suggestion by him.

I seen all types of doors but none is what I like so he told me whether I want laminated door. And knowing it can be custom made to any designs to whatever laminate, I know other types of door will not do. Hehe....

That's true. Laminated doors can have so many different design combinations such that each door can be unique. I dun think I will ever choose veneer doors again..

But I don't think it's common. Not everywhere you will get ppl to do laminated door.

Notice you are using granite sink. Do remember never ever to pour hot oil (not even a tea-spoon) as it will stain the sink. (happen to my mum's granite sink, tt time cook liao, thought just pour a little bit away should be ok, but who knows, stain, dam ugly, but have to live with it)

i never heard about laminated door, but i don't believe doors should only be those boring types.... i went to search everywhere, also can't find anything interesting.

Finally after few meetings with Andrew, he finally told me that as seldom people willing to pay the higher price for laminated doors.

My bedroom doors are laminate doors too. But to go with the overall minimalist design of my place, they are plain white laminates as proposed by my IDs. It's kinda not noticeable, but I guess that was the intent. Now that I have them (the doors), I have to agree that re-using the original doors would have totally spoilt the look. But we went thru some angst during renovation cos of the cost.
