Custom Or Ikea Washbasin Counter / Cabinet?

I've been looking around the shops and don't really see a big selection of washbasin counters... do most people ask their contractors to build them?

I really like this Ikea one but not sure how well it will last.

Hi, I bought a cheaper set from ikea and DIY replacing my old custom made cabinet.almost 4 months now, so far, so good. but remember to wipe/dry the cabinet, esp the doors..i think if u getting this set with the aluminium door, u will have less trouble maintaining it.

Thank you! I've heard some bad reviews of Ikea furniture but a lot of people still seem to buy so I guess no harm trying.

Hi. Just went to hoe kee this afternoon to look for basin cabinet for my new home. Price range from 299 onwards. I like those around $350+-. Sink and cabinet.

pls think twice about getting the counter unless you are 100% sure you will not spill water on it.

i am using ikea counter for the little tap i have at laundry area. the sides of cupboard warped already.
