Be careful wor... my carpenter comments the joint between full lower cabinet height door and drawer is very weak, better dont put too heavy stuff, the joint will give way in the long run.

Noted & thanks for warning us :thumbs up: This is the reason why we are asking the carpenter to change from 1 full height to 2 half height drawers to make it sturdier. We don't forsee putting many pots (or heavy stuff) as we seldom cook...hur hur! :dancingqueen:

Remember to ask your carpenter the specification of the Excel drawer, i mean can hold up to how heavy stuff.

I'm using Hettich drawer system, my carpenter say can hold up to 65kgs with no problem.

Wow...your contractor so good :good:

I'm currently helping my in-law with their reno and is still headache with the common toilet area. Really too cramp to even take a proper bath.....

Agree! Very constrain to pang sai or taking a bath with the partition and PD door :curse:

Best is to remove them and you will attain the "freedom" to move around in the bathroom :dribble: Removing the PD door to the service yard and sealing it up is optional - see what best suits you/in-laws.

Hi Mummy Ling,

Can check with you the door you use for your MBR toilet.

I saw a bifold door in the mirror reflection of the perspectives

Did you install the HDB wooden door?

Oh, we removed the wooden HDB door and replaced it with Besglas sliding bi-fold door (EZI door series).

Cost per door : $328 including installation (add GST to get the final amt).

You can check out their website here : http://www.besglas.com/pd_ezi_door.html
