Anyone managed to renovate their place and make it harder for lizards and cockroaches to get in? I'm planning on changing louver windows to sliding windows, I think that will help. What can I do about the rubbish chute and the water traps?

Aircon the whole house. Seal all doors and windows gap but pls take note that some 3room hdb flat the louver windows in toilet cannot be change to sliding or casement windows.
