Sze Hui 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2012 I m currently having same type of toilet tile as the one u have in the photo. My opinion is that while it look and feel nice... The downside is that they are hard to maintain.... Somewhat difficult to get rid of dirt stains if they are left there for sometime. Got to do regular cleaning to make sure the stains don't become permanent ones.Happy Reno really ah...tat makes me worried. Hope it can be cleansed with strong detergent. potatoes 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2012 really ah...tat makes me worried. Hope it can be cleansed with strong detergent.Just a word of caution if u ever consider using strong detergent for flooring. It may seep into the tiles and damage the waterproofing layer. Water may then seep through and ceiling below will be wet. That was my previous experience..... I actually used a lor of mr muscle and after that neighbor below complain their ceiling has water leaking from it! Just use gentle detergent like "Cif" or "jif"

Sze Hui 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2012 Bought two sets of Kohler shower head, mixer and basin mixer under the promo @ $328 per set (inclusive GST)@ KHK.Also bought the Kohler shower fliphead. Good water strength. Well, since i drop the idea of rainshower (to save water), this could be a good alternative. Currently on promo @ 2 for $288 (excluding GST). Shared with another friend. But Daniel, the PIC of KHK Asia mentioned that its not that much suitable for instant heater as water strength will not be good enough. All above promo is till stock last. piknik 1 Report post Posted January 27, 2012 SzeHui, I asked my husband n he said why not consider having quartz counter top instead? It has all the best feature of natural stone materials, except for the colors. And really endurable, much better than granite. Granite still can get stained while quartz does not. What do you think? Maybe you should consider using the storage water tank, rather than instant heater. The feeling is totally different. And the water temperature is also different. During cold/rainy days, instant heater cannot give you the hot water temperature that you want, but storage tank can.

It has all the best feature of natural stone materials, except for the colors. And really endurable, much better than granite. Granite still can get stained while quartz does not. What do you think?Quartz is much more expensive. If you get a dark colour granite like the black galaxy, then you don't have to worry about stains. Also, they will saying that china granite are more porous than India one, n hence more suceptible to stains. Hence, get Indian granite. But i think ultimately is really how the users take care of their stuff. For e.g. somebody was saying PD door is not good cos' get damaged easily. U have to push it in completing before turning the door, else the door will spoil easily. So if u dun follow instruction, things get damaged easily. But if you do, of cos' it will be very lasting. For me, i dare not take the risk since i always have alot of guests in my house. Blum system also same thing. u cannot force the door to close if u use the soft closing, else it will spoil easily as well... See...technology is very perfect. but if u follow the steps, it does help u alot.

I'll be using a central heater. So that should come with a storage water tank izzit?
