xtac 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2012 Yeah we specifically did not want to do our cabinets all the way to the top coz we reckoned that putting things all the way that high up would be inconvenient for us to take it down. In any case even if we were to put things that we very rarely use or don't use simply meant that we should not even have purchased it in the first place hahaha. Not doing the cabinets all the way up also helps to make the place look more spacious. Of course the layout of the place also helps a lot thankfully.
Confidential 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 Very nice and clear pictures. Does your flat comes with all the taps and shower head? And the tiles throughout the house? How's the finishing done by HDB?
potatoes 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) My kitchen before moving in also look clean, neat and spacious. After moving in, it look different.... Find it really hard to keep it spacious..... I wonder how amyone can manage to maintain that "neat & clean" outlook after u move in. The finishing is nothing to shout about but its also not sloppy. It is decent enough. Of course, some things we did not like is that the sink is too small. For us we make it a point to keep things we do not use back in the drawers and cupboards. Yeah i know the place still new give it a couple of months and we will stop doing that. I think it boils down to the individual. Even when i was staying at my mum's place, i always like to keep my personal space/area neat tidy and clean. Unless i run out of storage to keep stuff, then i will start throwing away old stuffs that i do not need. We make drawers and cupboards to keep things. So i always remind myself to make use of it since i paid for it hahaha. Of course, try to only purchase things you really need else they end up as a white elephant in your home not only in the kitchen.
