Does Quotes On Laying Tiles Usually Inculde Sand?

hi Guys

In quotes from IDs when they say

=Supply and lay 600mm x 600mm Homogenous floor tiles for Living, Dining and Passage-way ( Include Homogenous skirting ) = $4600

Does this include buying sand from HDB?

I understand that Haulage & Debris charge is from Town coucil which i need to pay separtely - $235 exclude gst

As a contractor i know he say the below way cheaper but i calculated more ex

-Tiles prices i bought $2652

-Sand from HDB $800

-Tiler labour $2300

please advise

Shouldn't it be all in? If there is a separate amount for sand, what about cement? Doesn't make sense..

I calculated total is $5752

The quote should include everything, including sand and haulage. If there're any hidden costs, run like ****.

Total Price for Tiles - $2400

Living & Passage Way - $4psf

Master room - $2.9psf

RM 2 & 3 - $3.1psf

Workmanship & Cement - $2300

Total paid contractor - $4700

HDB Sand ( I paid myself) - $800

Grand total for my flooring - $5500
