zmandcf 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2012 MBR Toilet: A black laminate with shiny sparkles was chosen to create some luxury feel in the toilet. There was a door to the shower panel that we removed it after our neighbour who has built the door advised us not to do so as the toilet is really small. My regret about the toilet is that we did not overlay the tiles due to budget constraint. Otherwise, I believe the whole feel of the toilet will be much better. Lastly, the WIW: A white WIW that comes with a white 2-fold nyatoh door, 2 rows of white wardrobe with white and see-through glass casement doors, a white dressing table with chest of white drawers below. Lastly, we will be putting white carpet and use white curtains to really make the whole WIW white. We decided on a silver round door knob rather than the gold ones in the 2nd and 3rd drawings.Gorgeous!! Looking forward to my WIW after seeing this.

Punggolfamily 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2012 (edited) Ytd, Rick sms that the tic/tac door for the bomb shelter cannot be full height as a full height door will hit the foyer light when I open it. He attributed the problem to the fact that there is no false ceiling. Reason: with a false ceiling, a downlight would be used and thus a full height door can be used. He proposed to lower the door height but doing so, will adds another horizontal line on the feature which I do not like it. I'm checking with Rick now if he can absorb the cost to do a false ceiling at the foyer while I pay for another downlight (the orignal light likely to be wasted) so that original design can be used, given that he did had the chance to highlight to me this implication earlier. 1st chance was when I told him to remove the false ceiling at the foyer at the early stage of finalising the 3D drawings. 2nd chance (prehaps) was when we were buying lights together. I'm waiting for his decision now.11 May 12, 1023pm: Rick informed that he had removed the foyer light and will be doing a false ceiling at the foyer....all these for free. (+pts for Rick here) Edited May 11, 2012 by Punggolfamily
