Real Estate under the Condominium status have a larger plot size, at least 4,000 sqm (approx 43,000sqft)

Usually there is more provision for facilities in a Condo development, the setback distance is also more for a Condo.

Best,

Hi,

You can read more from the URA website about the definition of Condominium - www.ura.gov.sg/circulars/text/dchbr/pt1condoflats-dchbr.pdf

As per the info, the minimum site area for condominium is 0.4 ha and condominium housing requires a larger land area. There are usually more generous provision of communal and recreational facilities in condominium flats. The communal facilities are under the common ownership of the residents and are provided for their enjoyment. The residential units are only allowed strata subdivision.

Happy reading!
