oohh..the carpenter coming to help me look at the dish drainage tray....and contractor said he may be able to help me get a can of the paint (my hook and portrait story). Nice!

So is he changing the base piece?

So is he changing the base piece?

The carpenter came. He said the wood won't spoil as long as not soaked in water. Ok, I accept that. Then the carpenter said it's his staff fault for not laminating the inner side of the wood base so he laminate. I am leaving it as it is.

Carpenter said contractor told him i said it was the tray rusting. I told him not! It's leaking. So end up the carpenter did not bring a new tray. He will replace it for me.

I also got a call from Ikea CRM. I emailed them about the rust on cutlery and utensils. They offered to change but I declined because it's a hassle to go down change. The staff said there is no similar complaint so far. Otherwise they would have taken QC action. I told him I saw complaints on forums and suggested that people may not want to take the trouble to complain.

So good! I didn't know can exchange. Thanks for informing about the light issue. Luckily we did not buy that light.
