This is the wall which I mentioned very jialat one. After it has been painted, the protruding part is so obvious... :bangwall:

Need to discuss with ID to see how we can quickly rectify this....

Painting is done but some parts will be repainted as I requested some part of the wall(as shown in previous pictures) will be plastered and one part of the MBR's wall has vertical gaps between 2 prefab slabs will be patched too.

Floor lamination will be done from tomorrow and will take 2 days

Kitchen will be up tomorrow too as well as the rest of the room's cabinet will be up on thursday.

Keeping my fingers crossed these major stuff has no screw ups.

Met Mae29 yesterday night to pass her some stuffs and asked her for a good day to move. She said April 9th and 11th is a good day to shift. Looks like the reno could be done by then but need to confirm with ID.

The drawer underneath the cooker is usually the casement drawer type, not the pull out type. Why? This is because underneath the cooker has piping and some depth needed for ventilation also. As such, you should spare another section for drawers. Yea, I do have another section for drawers too for my pots and pans. and plates. Those bigger pots will be put into the casement cabinets. Please refer to the drawings I did for the non-cooking washing cabinet area.

For these additional drawers, I need to pay extra 120.

Went up at 9+ and the moment I opened the door, the odour of the glue smut my eyes so much that I couldn't open for like 30 seconds. They are laminating the room floors now. All the unassembled cabinets are also all already in the living rooms. Wish I could take a good picture but it's dark and my mobile's LED light is just not strong enough. The glass panels and doors are also already up.

The laminate flooring color looks great. The house looks brighter with lighter colors

Too light color can see the linings between 2 planks....

Floor laminate still ok laa... Just need to train my eyes to accept it. Probably will change my downlight to warm color to enhance the creaminess of the flooring color. Dunno if this is a good idea or not....

Anyway, wait till you see the shoe cabinet.... Laminate also chose by wife one... That will be a bigger heart attack.... The pattern is moldy-moldy type.

I'm sure your relative will say: "Wow... did you do parquet flooring?" Then you grin at them, no answer. The flooring will look like real wood, don't look like laminate flooring. I agree with Muska. Light color flooring looks fantastic!
