chlorpheniramine 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2012 Based on the pictures, here're my unsolicited suggestions for practicality:Be careful with that ceiling fan and cove lighting. You might end up with a flickering TV console. Those shelves above the MBR study table are almost certain to get really dusty because they're hard to reach.Removing that glass pane at the MBR study table would really help with air circulation.Do consider getting rid of those drawers under the study tables unless you will never cross your legs or buy chairs with armrests. That protruding fridge base will cause your toes great pain if you kick it accidentally. No idea why the top hung cabinets in your kitchen don't go all the way up in the picture, but they really should. Otherwise be prepared for dust and dead insects galore. The cooker hob and sink seem jammed up closely together in the corner. More space between the two would be better. beluga 1 Report post Posted February 17, 2012 Thanks for the input! Really appreciate it.... Please see my reply below.....Based on the pictures, here're my unsolicited suggestions for practicality:Be careful with that ceiling fan and cove lighting. You might end up with a flickering TV console.[Me] That's my concern too but since the cove light is a reflected light I thought it would not have any issue. We could have put the cove light on the L-box itself. The reason why it was done this way is to avoid seeing a trunking cable of the ceiling fan if we do not want a false ceiling on the ceiling fan. Those shelves above the MBR study table are almost certain to get really dusty because they're hard to reach.[Me] Indeed. May reconsider....Removing that glass pane at the MBR study table would really help with air circulation.[Me] You got a point there.... May reconsider...Do consider getting rid of those drawers under the study tables unless you will never cross your legs or buy chairs with armrests.[Me] Good idea. May make it into 2 full height drawers instead. That protruding fridge base will cause your toes great pain if you kick it accidentally.[Me] That fridge is just an artist impression. The actual fridge is wider. Me and my dad has discussed a lot on where to put the fridge but can't really put at the right place as the kitchen is really small and lack of a full height wall.No idea why the top hung cabinets in your kitchen don't go all the way up in the picture, but they really should. Otherwise be prepared for dust and dead insects galore.[Me] They are full height. The shadow you saw is jsut the depth of the door frame. The cooker hob and sink seem jammed up closely together in the corner. More space between the two would be better.[Me] The 3D design of the kitchen is poor. The Hob and the hood should be place nearest to the microwave in the 3D image. The microwave should be placed on the dry area.

It was exactly as discussed. Only thing they say need to top-up is the glass display cabinet beside the hidden storeroom door.
