lawry 3 Report post Posted December 29, 2011 If you're still facing mold issues. Try using white vinegar spray on the surface and let it dry.It stinks a bit, but it works. I tried that on some furniture in the past.
Babaras 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2012 The same thing happened to me when i bought a wardrobe from Vhive. White patches appear in the wardrobe (like fungus). After wiping them off, they will appear one week later. It was horrible. The patches also continued to leech on dark colored clothes and we will have to wash the clothes even though they were kept in the wardrobe. The worst thing was when we confronted the vhive salesperson about this issue, we were told that such white patches could happen to some customers while some don't. Well, what an answer and we certainly weren't expecting such kind of comment, who would want to buy a wardrobe with the probability that it might come with white patches?! Not me definitely. And the best part of the advice given by the salesperson was better to stop using the wardrobe. NICE. I buy a wardrobe from a furniture stall and told by the salesperson to stop using it. Of course, we called the office line to request for a resolution. The service over the helpline was not friendly nor helpful. We are still waiting for a resolution as of now. But I'm hoping to share my experience here so that all buyers out there can think twice about buying from VHIVE. In my opinion and first hand experience, don't even think twice. I'm not going to buy from VHIVE again.
Babaras 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2012 yes! I'm going to CASE too if they do not give a good resolution! so far they are also blaming on the environment! ridiculous!Just an update on my wardrobe. I called up their customer service. Yes, as usual they blamed it on the environment. When I asked y only wardrobe is affected and nothing to the study desk and 3 tier drawer which are currently placed side by side in the same room, bought and delivered at the same time, no answer from the CSO. She said she will call me back but no call since then. Before she put down the call, she informed that there's no warranty for their wardrobes... I wonder if she's hinting that no hope liao and my $699 is gone... With the moulds, I don't really dare to place clothes in it except some bags and docs so it's a white elephant now... Anyway, I have submitted a complaint thru CASE online two days back... Let see how it goes... If the companyhad returned my call and admitted there's problem with their wardrobes.I don't think I will go to CASE... What I can't take it is they blame my house for causing it!!!!! albertchng 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2012 Blame it on these...1. humid weather in topical Singapore. 2. uses humidifier with aircon.3. stay near a lot of green (trees/plants/hills).I used to have a dehumidifier installed in the Walk-in Wardrobe to get rid of moisture in the air that causes mold to grow on furniture and clothes.
