EoneKhaled 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2012 Like your glass sliding door for your toilet, how much did you pay for it plus installation?Minimalist Black and White ToiletHacked the original separating wall to combine two (WC and Bath) toilets into one so that it is more spacious. Walled up half the entrance and added a glass sliding door (Pastel Crystal White from Aplus Glass) at the other end. Left a space for the washing machine. An old model Samsung WD8804CJA but can do Washer-Dryer-AirWash. Won't be using the dryer all the time, but will be a good option to have for rainy days and urgent wardrobe requirements The space above the washing machine is about just nice for an IKEA FAKTUM wall cabinet with RUBRIK White glass door.View from Kitchen with door closedView from Kitchen with door openedBlack tiles for the floor and white tiles for the wall. ID suggested to add mosaic strip in the middle. Went abit off the minimalist theme here Initially wanted a glass screen for the shower area, but decided to leave it open for the time being so that it's more spacious. Resulted in the whole bathroom floor wet whenever we bath though..The shower set. Tried to keep it as minimalist as possible. Will have think of ways to de-clutter the facial wash above the dispensers.Wash Basin to the left of the bathroom. Didn't really came out what we wanted..but have to make do for various reasons Toothpaste dispenser recommended by my ID. Have to think of ways to hide the ugly toothpaste tube though. Maybe should ask my ID whether can box-up the toothpaste That seem to solve everything else unsightly in the rest of the house

chling 1 Report post Posted April 11, 2012 Hi chling, simply love ur living room concept esp the led lightings..Can pm me the info (eg. Where to get it, ur spendings ..as me is on quite a tight budget)Thanks in advance....Also one last thing, if (touchwood) the leds is spoilt, will it be easy to replace...????Hi melvinlkl have pmed you. There are 3 components to the RGB LED lighting. The led strip, the power adaptor and the led driver. I was informed that the led strip itself will last quite long as the LEDs generate very little heat. It's the led driver that will be more prone to failure. It,s just a matter of replacing the driver connected to the strip if it spoils. The LED driver is also the one that connects to the remote control. It is abt 30 bucks for a new driver n remote. The led strips come with 3M double side tape one one side, so it is just a matter of removing the strp n re pasting a new strip if the led strip really spoils. chling 1 Report post Posted April 11, 2012 Hi Chling, What is the pro & con of you useing black colour tiles for your toilet?Pro: it matches my house theme and I like the color.Con: was told that it could be more difficult to maintain than white and water marks more obvious. Acceptable to me personally though. D note the this is the perspective from someone with an all white theme ;p My thinking is that if a spot in my house is dirty, I would prefer to be able to see it easily and avoid or clean it rather than have the impression that it is clean when it is not. It is important ou like the color theme and design then you will enjoy living and maintaining it.

Portia 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2012 agree that it will be nice to make furniture disappear and was really tempted by this dining set whereby the all glass table and transparent polycarbonate chairs will really make the whole dining set blend into the surroundings.yes, really looking forward to maintaining the white laminate flooring! Already standby magic-clean wipes and maybe considering getting one of those robot cleaners to help out in future...never thought about having to clean the silicon though hahaha but I guess they will get dirty too..Hi!I'm looking for a transparent dining table like the one you posted. May I know where you saw it? And roughly how much it's going for? Or can anyone share with me where I can find a similar set? Many thanks!!

The one in my photo was actually from one of the shops at International Furniture Centre at Sungei Kadut. It was more expensive there at about $1K+.

chling 1 Report post Posted May 18, 2012 What happened? Leaks?yes! u made a gd guess! apparently toilet leaking..and I don't have a lot of confidence in them fixing it..I'm afraid they will mess up the house further when hacking and redoing the toilet floor...especially my laminate flooring...the quality of some of the workers is quite bad...after complain on the poor quality...have to wait..then come down rectify and not up to standard...i have to call and complain again and then wait again..hopefully they will live up to their promises..shall wait and see..
