Is This Kitchen Quote Too Good To Be True?

Would like to seek some advice. Wanted to change kitchen cabinets cos spoilt.

Approached one carpenter and got quoted this. Is it too good to be true? considering reading around most of your kitchen cabinet is at least $100/ft.

1 Supply and construct 11.5ft top & 16ft bottom kitchen cabinet in solid plywood, selected laminate finish & white internal pvc finishing with anti-slam doors,ABS trimming & drawers [ Total : 27.5ft ] $ 2062.00

2 Supply and construct 16ft solid surface kitchen top $ 1360.00

3 Supply and install dish rack cabinet with aluminium-framed, frosted or black glass lift-up door $ 180.00

4 Supply labour to install sink & tap, plumbling works to sink $ 130.00

5 Supply labour to dismantle existing kitchen cabinet $ 200.00

TOTAL : $ 3932.00

Your quote does seem abit too cheap. Be careful of hidden costs. For example, I see that you were quoted for dismantling of exiting cabinets... But how about haulage and clearing of debris fees? Then for the soft closing / ABS trimmings, do check out what brand they are offering you. Lastly, do check out their credentials, get past customers reviews and see examples of their work. If overall you are happy... then perhaps you have found a really good deal. *good luck*

Do you have any idea what brand of laminate, ABS edging and solid surface they are using?
