sccy2 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2011 This evening I went over to our new house after work and see that the capentry work is 90% done. contractor has advised that the solid surface top will up this thursday. Just hope that my house can be fully done and clean up latest by early dec 2011. I have arranged with all the suppliers to deliver the furnitures and electronic items on 15 Dec 2011 and curtains will also install by that week as well. just pray hard that we can move in our new house by mid dec 2011.following are the photos of the capentry works for bedrooms, kitchen and living room:bedroom 2 wardrobe

Erwinong 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 Hi,Nice blog! I noticed your living room has no downlights? Just T5 side lightings it seems. Are those bright enough to light up the whole living room?
reine 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 Yes, I believe their kitchen is similar to my layout. But mine definitely can't fit a 2 door fridge. Until now, I still cannot phantom why my kitchen is smaller than a 4room unit. Haha.Anyway, it looks almost completed! Your MBR can fit a study table. Wow. How many ft is your wardrobe? How's the workmanship for cpg btw? I think the leadtime to do the curtains shld be fast - shld be 1-2 wks leadtime (also need to depends on the supplier schedule - seems now is coming year-end - will be busy). For me I have advised my curtains to be installed on the week 12-16 Dec 2011 but my wooden blinds will be delayed as materials imported delay (just hope that can do it by Dec'11). Yesterday I went to my friend hse warming - she stays in the condo..her curtains for living room and 3 bedrooms only S$1,200.your kitchen can't fit a fridge but I went to blk 269A a 5 rm unit that my contractor has done - kitchen is small but the owner still get a 2 door side by side fridge - the sink is near the windows which outside is the aircon ledge and the cooking area is just opposite the toilet...i find it so crampy. sccy2 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 Hi,Nice blog! I noticed your living room has no downlights? Just T5 side lightings it seems. Are those bright enough to light up the whole living room? Thanks I do have downlights but they are at the other end of the living room where the sofa is situated. They are 3 pcs of 6 1/2 inch downlights there but the switch for these downlights are yet to install as switch is situated at the house shelter feature wall. My wardrobe is 6ft but i find that the contractor actually get the capenter to do the wardrobe more than 6ft as it cover up the whole wall. So far i find the workmanship ok and i did see the workers doing and talk to them ..we are happy wif their workmanship. So yr house reno already start? HDB already approved the hacking permit?
