Reconstruct Storeroom Or Build Cabinet

Hi all,

Previous owner has hacked away the 1m W x 1.8m L storeroom in the kitchen. But I probably need the storage place. Is it cheaper to construct back the storeroom (1.8m W x 1m L) or build a built-in ceiling-to-floor cabinets of the same size? Oh, this unit has high ceiling, ~2.9m tall. I plan to redo the whole kitchen after I get the keys.

If you are going for cheaper option, perhaps partition walls, for durability cabinets or hollow block. For me i think hollow block is better, as for my case i may place heavy stuff that needs to lean against the wall. For cabinets, there may be additional cost due to the height of your ceiling, since most carpenter charge price per feet, based on standard height..
