And the toilet are separated far away.Going to install the storage heater in the common toilet.My question is whether both my toilet can install the rain shower system?Or I need to install both storage heater in both toilets? Simontsh 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2011 IMO it depends on which storage heater and usage style.how many are there in the house? will both showers be used concurrently often?if yes, you probably need a big sized storage heater. pros : one heater only. save installationcons : when u switch on, u heat alot of water up. (say u take 35L heater, only one person is going to shower. but when u switch on heater, it heats up 35l of water)or u can install 2 small ones but that means 2 installations. If at kitchen entrance, then main bedroom users must go to kitchen to turn on/off heater. If at main bedroom toilet door, others must enter this room to turn heater on/off. musicbox 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2011 My advice is do not use rain shower, if you really wish to have it, you can have one in your MBR. For me I've both rain shower in my common room and MBR, mine is a condo so the water heater was already there (2 water heaters). Comparing to electrical water heater, i prefer the electrical type. Rain shower is good to see to me, but waste water and electricity. When you on your heater, it'll take some time before the water is heat, and after some years, the water heater will give you problem (e.g. water leaking and your ceiling will kena. The worst thing is, all spare parts of rain shower is very expensive, the button (the one converting rain shower to hand held shower and vice versa) spoilt, the repairing cost is more than $100, and the button spoilt just after 3 mths of installing. But I suppose it is true that if spoil, more costly to repair or change. Just like a car. More expensive and nicer car to sit in, also more expensive to repair if spoilt. lemontee 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2011 Just got confirmation from my ID.The hot water pipe cannot be run through the room due to the size of the water hole.No choice, I need to lay another power point to the MBR for the heater.Now I am considering whether to go Instant or Storage for both toilets. bepgof 20 Report post Posted November 4, 2011 What's the difference between instant and storage?Instant:- Less setup cost- Less maintenance- Disposable- Water pressure problem if another ppl use shower next room.Centre:- Expensive initial setup.- Auto temperature cutoff tot sw is on.- Consistent water flow- Expensive cold-hot tap head- Hot pipe might need insulation- Conseal pipes might leak over time...
