0ddie 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) Okay, I am going to sound like a bimbo here, but is it possible to DIY your floor yourself? I am revamping my bedroom myself but the problem is that my tiles are really ugly, and I was wondering if I can overlay it on top without hacking the tiles. Ikea sells these kind of tiles: http://wooden-tiles.com/Some%20models%20in%20newest%20plastic%20resin.jpg, but it's too thick. I want it to look natural.Thank you! renoseeker 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2011 Possible. But you need to know how to do it. And also the equipment. How to do: What pattern to lay the tiles, the type of adhesive to paste the tiles, how to put the grout etcYou would also probably need a tile cutter machine, because chances are that your floor will not be exactly the dimensions of the tiles. In other words, you need to cut the tiles so that your whole room is covered, included the corners.

renoseeker 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2011 You can try Home Fix and Homely Hardware. Not 100% sure though
