What's The Best Way To Redo The Bathroom & Kitchen?

Recommended Posts

Dear all

Any suggestions and recommendations on what is the best way to redo up the old bathroom and kitchen tiles and flooring?

any feedback on 1) overlaying the tiles? 2) Cement screeding? 3) Pebble wash flooring? 4) Expoy paint?

Most important must be durable, cost savvy and nice looking :-)

Please feel free to feedback and share your opinions

thanks alot! :-)

marble for tolite....... wooo

Marble is porous, not suitable for toilet unless you rich enough to do waterproofing maintenance yearly.

I would suggest hack all existing wall & floor tiles, apply waterproofing and lay new homogenous tiles, same pattern but rough surface for floor and smooth surface for wall.

for flooring not recommended to overlay, as it might cause problem with the waterproofing in the future.

overlay wall tiles is still acceptable.

Remember, how ever u want to save money must think of the long lasting. invest on slightly higher cost but for much longer lasting.
