designez 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2011 Probably do all the construction work first as this is most "messy". So a better sequence is from heavy-duty to light-duty work:installation of feature wall - laying bay window top - decking - painting - wall paper - lights - varnishingOur sequence was:Hacking wall & kitchen + toilet flooringPlumbing worksWindowsKitchen & toilet floor tiles ( + Waterproof layer)Electrical re-wiring (Lighting, TV cable, network, Telephone & air con cabling)Air con installationL-box for hiding cabling & trunkingPlastering + Painting whole houseAcid WashKitchen cabinet & wardrobes installationInstall lightingDoors
yoongf 11 Report post Posted October 16, 2011 installation of feature wall - laying bay window top - decking - varnishing -lights- painting - wall paperHeavy / wet works, or dirty work first.Varnishing is normally oil based, so water based paint drop on it can easily clean up. Varnish drop on paint is game over.Wall paper must be last, because any defect is not repair, but replace.Decking may be dusty due to sawing + sawdust. If lights already in. imagine cleaning the chandelier.
