Maccullam 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2012 I think it is a worth buying but you should first know the reason for selling it.Because if he is already getting profits by it then why he is willing to sell that tuition center???

bepgof 20 Report post Posted April 6, 2013 There is a tuition centre at Bedok for sale at $50k with monthly nett profit of $2000-$3000. Is it worth buying?Use NPV, NCD, IRR or WACC approaches to do calculation.Don't know how? Difficult to teach unless u got financial background. As a layman, 50000/3000 = 17 months to recover capital outlayIf put 50k at rather risk-free 1% financial instrument, give u abt $750 return after 17months.17 months guranteed with 2-3k cash inflow? What abt the fix and variable cash outflow during the period, or apportion to each month? What 'hardwork' u have to do to maintain the steady inflow?Do u have the capability in the first place? These are simple questions need to be answered before decision.
