My Country Home

Recommended Posts

Piggiedearz,

I was considering between Cottage and Forest. However, for Cottage, everything also need to add extra $$ - for gold trimmings, cut outs, Blum system, etc. In end, the quote by Forest was much more affordable. Plus, my hub preferred the design by Forest. hahaha... I'm also very excited for my reno to start. Targetting to complete b4 CNY.

I'm also very happy to meet lots of people with similar interests in country style homes. So did you design your whole house in the country look as well? Any pics to share? :D

Xiaobudian,

For your kitchen canopy, the design on it is tiles or carving on the wood? Possible to get a close up pic on the design? Cos Forest giving me a choice and I dunno which to choose yet. Waiting for her drawings.

hi kitty jems

my whole house is in this style except for the 2 common rooms which is a mixture as such style is very expensive, my husband do not want to spend that much on renovation, so quite restricted la :P

i also got quote from forest then, but it was like double or triple of other quotes, so i didn't go for them. i do love some of their designs too! maybe next time if have chance, can get them to do some other projects. :) cottage gave me very reasonable pricing and they understand what i want in this style, so i went ahead. let me see if i can post some photos :) i have a canopy in the kitchen too! u can take a look for an idea :)
