poper 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2011 Hi all,I've got a central heater at home and planning to replace it with an instant heater (assuming re-piping will be settled).(1) Can I re-use the power point? ie just connect the live, earth and neutral wire accordingly should work?With the central heater replaced, that means I will need an instant heater in my master toilet too.(2) I have a existing 3-pin socket in master toilet. Can I just connect the live, earth and neutral wire accordingly to make it work too?(3) Any good instant heater brand to recommend?Appreciate your advice and considerations I should look out for.Thanks! Connect the Live, Neutral and Earth wire properly. Always take precaution.On the heater itself, make sure the earth wire also connected to the copper bottle that heats up the water.For instant heater, i would prefer Panasonic one. Cos its cheaper, faster to heat up, nicer shower head and got a safety button. Which means if there is a surge, only th heater will trip, the whole house will not blackout.
