prody 1 Report post Posted September 18, 2011 Here is the Layout of our flat.Nice layout you have After seeing your floor plan in detail, the positions of bedrooms and store is so ideal to be hacked to create a larger living area and perhaps a WIW at your MBR? My humble opinion. From your posts I understand that you will be keeping the bedrooms. Either way, have fun and enjoy the process

My humble opinion. From your posts I understand that you will be keeping the bedrooms. Either way, have fun and enjoy the process thanks prody! love ya feature wall in your MBR toilet too as well as the laminates! really brings out the detail of the toilet. a handful of IDs we went too suggested using our BD2 as WIW and Study, but due to cost concerns we had to abandon the idea, maybe in our next reno, we will def do more major works and reno. we decided to keep the store as theres alot of barang barang that me and my WTB would have to keep somewhere, thus leaving it behind untouched.saw ya post on choosing floor laminates as well, we choose a rather light/white laminate for the living area to suit the theme of white+grey+wood so i guess having dirt trapped inbetween cant be helped. will be updating some pics later on in my t-blog as we went shopping today for sanitary wares, as well as tv console & dining table. strikingreality 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2011 (edited) Hey Fellow RT Bros & Sis, After seeing so many beautifully documented homes and abodes, i guess its also time we start sharing our renovation process with everyone here as i aspire our home to be lovely and nice as well. The place we've gotten was from a HDB Sales of Balance Flats excercise and its me and my WTB's first home and hope everyone will enjoy our renovations as much as we've enjoyed reading everyone else. Here is the Layout of our flat.As you can see, the layout is a tad bit challenging to design due to the left and right most walls being slanted and diagonal as the flat itself is curved at its exterior.I quite like your layout! Yes, the exterior and side walls are curved, but otherwise, the house is generally well designed with the rooms clustered in one area together, the common toilet door opens to the bedrooms and the store well hidden away. It's a SOBF from the exercise in end last year? And you just gotten your keys? How come take so long for yours? My friend also balloted for the SOBF from last year, and gotten her keys for her flat in Hougang in Apr/May thereabouts. Sadly she is still renovating her flat after 4 months. MeRfMeRf 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2011 (edited) we also went to TFM to have a look see look see and saw this tv console at Species which caught our eyes as it comes in Piano White finishing, and have not seen something of similar. it will fit nicely below our living room wall feature which is suspended across the diagonal wall. TV ConsoleDining Tablesomething similar to this design but is made entirely of wood instead of steel and glass and finished in piano white, length wise is catered for 4 to 6 seater.its comes with 2x chairs same as the picture above together with a 2 seater bench.anyway heard that they do not have good reviews or comments on RT, hopefully they will deliver and pull through on their end. Reno work officially started in begining of Sept due to the lunar 7th month.
Dreaming 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2011 Nice console! You can put your sub woofer on the left or right space. Piano white is beautiful!
MeRfMeRf 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2011 Nice console! You can put your sub woofer on the left or right space. Piano white is beautiful! yup! this console is 2.1m and will give us more room to play with when arranging the AV decks around. sadly however, the center drawer piece is not movable like their other variant which cost even more due to a class top and with shorter dimensions at 1.8m.
