ipkissDC 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2011 ForewordDecided to start this blog, my first blog incidentally, as a gesture of gratitude to this forum.Benefitted from the knowledge and wisdom of those who had selflessly shared here.So here goes...Our first HDB flat purchase - a 4rm unit, Punggol Sapphire. It is everything my wife and I have asked for - tall unit, close to amendities (Punggol MRT is just near by, with the surrounding area earmarked for some exciting development)but yet not too close (so we could still enjoy some privacy); and to top it all off, a balcony. In short, a complete bliss We will be taking possession of our keys at the end of the month. So you could imagine it's a pretty exciting time for our family. And it's been really quite a challenge, especially with two young and active kids to take care of, our reno journey hasn't been easy. We are quite happy that at least we have our ID settled; that's one big piece of puzzle solved. Now it's all the "other pieces" and there are quite a few "others" I must say...The decision to go with this ID is quite a story actually. It's a leap of faith, for me at least. Hope that this decision would not come back to haunt me. But I'll leave the story of going with this ID to the next posting. For now, just want to say hi to all.
