5 Room Hdb At City Fringe

Recommended Posts

It has been a daunting task after shifting in, especially the unpacking portion! Hence that explain the missing in action here. What used to be in place with the old place has to be decided with a new place to store them. Finally things are slowly getting into place. On top pf that, I actually spent a week to paint my bedroom door frame and my main door. Out of touch for quite a while, i have to fixed up a lot of small patches when i torn down the masking tape..... hehe

Anyway, sofa arrive last friday and living area is sort of complete. Still contemplating if we should get a small coffee table, a serving trolley or just do without any of them to be placed in front of the sofa, simply because the space in front is too small! Unless we found a very nice and small coffee table, we will do without one for now. Any suggestion on the idea of coffee table are welcome.....

I see a Grafunkt Line TV Console! :) Exactly the same as what we got.

I dun think you should get a coffee table though, cuz the distance between your TV and your sofa looks v tight already... A side table would be much better, or one of those serving tables which can be pushed into the sofa.

Initially we also do not wanna get a coffee table due to the distance between the sofa and the TV console. That's why we got a sofa with wooden arm rest. However, in the end we got a coffee table as it's in the package from Cellini. Might place the coffee table else where though after the carpentry is up with furnitures delivered.

I am actually looking at those serving tables so when vistors come over, i can just push the serving tables out and let them put their cups when serving drinks. When we are not using i can actually push it to the kitchen to serve as another shelfing unit.....

Any idea where can i get one of those serving tables?...... thanks

Personally, I find those a little tacky... ma-chiam like restaurant like that but that's my personal view. :) For your guests they can use the serving tables, how about yourself then?

I meant something more like this... so you can use it for other stuff as well, like for your laptop or for your snacks while you watch TV.

The side table from Muji looks cool. Looks suitable for my design. Now i need to go to the showroom and measure the clearance for my height of the sofa. You have any idea how much is it going for?

Not the TS, but just to share...

From my understanding of cement screed, definitely will have hairline crack in future. Cannot be avoided. If don't wanna see any hairline crack, then better dun do cement screed.

My cement screed wall is almost 2 months old now? So far no cracks yet.
