My toilet is not bright with all the dark tiles.....False wall using gypsum board to cover the store room door....Not on progress but just a shot of my house view from living room..At least can see a bit of town area hehe
techaview 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) Love this basin the moment i set my eye upon it. The squarish shape with two bowl. Best part it is deep enough and offer a 5 years warranty against rust. Hope that it will rust or oxidize that easily..... If you are meticulous enough, you will have notice that the drainage hole is further away from the wall. This is purposely done as my chopping area will be on the right side and I can use the right bowl as the rubbish area when i chopped and throw all the unwanted stuffs. Waiting for the tap to be delivered and fit to complete the sink. Some carpentry up for the kitchen. 70% done...Sliding glass door to the entrance for kitchenSwinging frosted glass to common toilet Edited October 17, 2011 by techaview
techaview 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) Brick wall in living room.... 50% done with painting leftStorage cabinet (mainly shoe) in living roomCustomized bedframe with bedside drawer and headboard. Pardon for the poor lighting. This is taken at night using iphone with flashAm looking for a side table to house my nespresso machine as well as wine chiller in living room but most of the side table that i scout around are either too low or the depth is not long enough. Chanced upon a side table that fits all the bill. The best part, it is from ikea! (save a lot of $$ if i get this). Problem is the colour is too dark for my liking. I remember there is another model in pine wood colour tone. Maybe i will get that and apply veneer myself. Time for D.I.Y....... techaview 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2011 The white cabinet complements your cement wall so well! Nice! Thanks. I am thinking it may be too white but contractor says that over the years will become yellowish because of the oil stain when cooking, hence we go for a plain white. Wanted black colour initially but scared will make the space looks too small.
techaview 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2011 During lunch went over to my office area there to look for some gift for friend. Chanced upon a shop that sells a lot of clipsal and legrand switch. I'm sure for those who is reading this, you will automatically be drawn inside. It likes a magnet! esp during renovation period now...Start to look around and a young guy came over to serve me. Tell me what sort of brands they carry and I naturally ask them what kind of switches/plugs are available for those exposed type. He told me for those exposed type, the cover of the switches/plugs from clipsal and legrand will not really flush in with the box at the back cause they are usually curvy at the edge. Since i have already ask my electrician to get all the normal switches/plugs, there is no point for me to change all until i saw these...Cannot resist the design of the industrial switches/plugs for my kitchen which i think will make a lot of diff. Asks him the cost and to my surprise it is no expensive at all. He seems quite surprised as he says that not much people will get this for their home as this is during used in factory/workshop/kopitiam haha...... Will ask my contractor to install and see how the effect will turn out to be.Thanks to one of a t-blog thread, i forget which one already but if you are reading, THANKS A LOT for your link to wholesale faucet. I saw this in one of a shops in balestier before. The design are all in 2 feets height which is too tall for my design and the cheapest I have gotten a quote for it is $400. I got mine from wholesale faucet for a fraction of the price and best part, it is 1.5 feets in height which is a perfect height for us. (We are not really tall to begin with) hehe. techaview 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2011 HihiCould you send me the contact for the wholesale faucet? Thank you.Hi Matrox, simple, just hit http://www.wholesale-faucet.com/ and choose your model. Shipping takes 3 days for me which is fast in my context. Do note the height of the tap. There are both 2 fts and 1.5 fts. I think 2 fts is too high for us coz we will be mounting our dish drainer above the tap.
