Usually not worth doing because will need to change foam as well.Actually it is 8 years.But the foam is still in good quality as it is hardly used.The leather was damaged as maid used strong detergent to clean it. My guess is that the cost of re-upholstery will be quite close to the cost of getting a new sofa but if you like what you have then you may want to re-upholster.
