Mondy 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2011 DIY? The water-proofing part not easy right? That's not the issue. The challenge is how to support the tank in an aesthetic manner. For the tank, you can custom it to your dimension with 6mm or 8mm glass. The bigger the tank, the heavier it is; 1 litre of water is @1 kg.Also before you decides on the dimension, go to a well-stocked aquarium shop to check on the available equipments; internal filter, lights. You may want to visit the local aquatic forums for more ideas. folwer 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) Dun go to those decor fish shop (espucalkt those in imm), I suggest you get those custom fish tank builder and get him to work with your Id/contractor. In wall tank is a long term commitment, if you don't get it right, 3/4 years down the road, you are going to wake up in a Swiming pool. I was into the reef keeping hobby and lots of newbie regretted getting these people to do their fish tank....go look at sgreefclub.com to look for info...
