Bunnymummy 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 My kitchen countertop is a white coloured solid surface type and some parts have yellow stains. Even the sink part has some brown stains as the sink is also made of the same material (one whole piece with the L shape countertop). Also some minor scratches here and there. I'm hoping I can get it repolished/sanded so that I don't have to replace the whole thing. Does anyone know if any companies or contractors can do this? Must be specialist (e.g. kitchen counter supplier) or can any contractor do it with a sanding machine? Thanks for any advice.

rynkh 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2012 Can we do the polishing ourselves ? Buy a Black and Decker Sander and stick in a sand paper ? I see that's that the Solid Top people do. But I don't know what grade of sand paper to use ... any ideas ?
