tjoeshue 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2011 (edited) Yeah! Guess its time to share. A Quick intro, my queen and I will tie the knot officially and legally at end of the yearBut this 5 rm flat (Boon Keng Cityview) came real quick, we collected the keys around AprilThus we are taking our on sweet time for our reno, but this reno does not seem to end.We had spend plenty of time and finally chosen the one, the very creative ID.But as usual, my queen has plenty of her "designer viewpoint" too, thus till now, we are still making minor changes to the renoLets take a look at the floorplan Edited August 15, 2011 by tjoeshue
tjoeshue 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2011 As our flat is supposed to be in live in status, this renovation involves many wastage as many ready made stuff will be gone in the ash. Some preview pics of our house before reno

tjoeshue 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 A quick intro of our ID.Our ID Desmond is a very patient man, cause we keep changing our mind, and thus he had to keep providing the drawings, the drawings he gave us can be turned into a book lolNow, we had our own share of meeting 8 IDs/ Contractors. He was different, he is very confident of his work that he gave us free drawings on our 2nd appointment, even though we had not confirm him yet. Now, my queen wanted something different, we had seen the past work of the other contractors/ID, she got only one comment for them which is conventional lolI will just show some of the ID drawings that he providedthe below copy was scanned thus the poor quality. he liked to gave us in A3 size paper... tjoeshue 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 While we were patienly waiting for our reno to progress, we went shopping!Honestly, i was very excited going shopping. But slowly, it just turns out to be a very gruesome 21km route march. We search for months for our dining lights, dining table, chairs, outdoor furniture, sofa, basins.....the fastest was the television lol cause there is not much design aspect on a TV...Below are just some of the shops we went, not to talk about walking the whole stretch of Balestier and Jalan Besar multiple times...Designer SGDESIGNer.SG31 Playfair Road Singapore 367993Operating HoursMondays: 8.30am to 6.00pmTuesdays - Sundays: 11.00am to 7.00pmWe are open daily!Telephone:+65 6863 2228Comfort Design110 Eunos Ave 7S(409573)Grafunkt Flagship Store85 Playfair Road#02-01 Tong Yuan Industrial BuildingSingapore 368000T 6281 8465E info[at]grafunkt.comOpening HoursDaily 12noon - 6pmEggthree HQ85 Playfair Road#07-01 Tong Yuan Ind. strikingreality 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 You got &Tradition's Megabulb!!! :sport-smiley-004: I was eyeing it for a very long while, but in the end found a good alternative. (Wasn't sure if it was available in Singapore, cuz I first saw it online)Where did you get it? How much did you get it at?Somehow the lights you have shown so far and the shops you've been to doesn't really seem to "gel" with the 3D drawings you ID has provided, esp for the living and dining areas.
