DancingInTheRain 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2012 (edited) Thanks for dropping by! haha. Errrrrr... green wall is still looking fine except some pots died.. In fact, a few pots keep dying so initially we gotten the greenwall guys to come repot.. then we realised can just go to Thomson area to buy the pots and DIY - a lot cheaper! So from then, my hubby made it a point to go Thomson buy the plants and repot.. we repotted abt less than 20 pots I think since we moved in. It's not bad, we are still loving the green. If I am not wrong, the ID quoted us $2.7 for the brick wall. most likely that's slightly above market rate de. They like to tok us. lol. go check out Jumpstreet's T-blog ya, his wall is white and carrotcakegirl's...Arh! Should have seen your blog earlier! My brother is doing landscaping and does this kinda green wall too! He actually quit JC in Year 2 to do horticulture in Poly.. Then he honed his craft from Australia and worked in his Aussie boss' new setup in Singapore for some years. Recently just became his own boss. Could have intro'd him... And I like that he really loves his job.... If u need maintenance or advices for the wall, can also lemme know ya.... Was chatting with my brother over dinner and we discussed about green walls in HDB flats. Hmmm... He says difficult to maintain coz need special lights on 24-7 and lotsa knowledge on the nature of different plants... Maybe reading up on the plants used will help?
