rootz 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2011 Dear all,Currently I have this fridge which is around 5 yrs old. The situation that I am facing now is that there tends to be water being collected within the fridge, i.e under the cabinets.Could this be caused by worn gaskets? Or some other reasons? If so, any recommendation for repair companies?Appreciate yr assistance and reply on this matter! Thanks and regards,Rootz
whitefantasy 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2011 Hi Rootz,My Goldstar (now known as LG) fridge ard 14 yrs also got same problem, water will leak out fm the inner fridge but dunno fm which part. Then it will leak fm the vegetable compartment onto our flooring everyday. Beside that, it will generate loud & abnormal sound, super noisy. Since the fridge so old liao, repair not worth so bought a new fridge instead. For ur case, if there is no abnormal sound, guess it could be the door rubber paddings loose or spoilt hence condensing? Why not call up the service center to check with them?
rootz 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2011 Hi whitefantasy,Thanks for the reply. The issue is that the fridge is still working well, less the condensation. Thus would prefer to repair rather than just buy a new one.And it's not making adnormal noise at the monment. So should not be that bad.So still looking for contacts for such fridge repair.hope to hear from u guys soon! Thanks and regards,Rootz

Then just buy a new one.
