wow, your kitchen island is really long? is the front narrow part your dining area?

Yup. Dat part is my dining table (it's extended frm the kitchen island). But the narrow part u see in the pic is the skeleton of the dining table. They'll install an Indian granite top over it as the table top proper.

Hi, I notice there is gaps between your lights. Did u use T5 tubes? U can ask your electrician to use overlaying wire so that there will be no gap of lights.

Look nicer... :yamseng: :yamseng:

Island 3m, Dining 1.5m.

nice! your cooking area is way bigger than mine. after having mine for a few days..am expecting that I will spill over prep work for cooking onto the dining side if I ever cook..haha

p/s: Indian granite is quite gorgeous. Do you have to cut yours into 2 pieces? Mine was coz the full length cannot go into HDB lifts...and also impossible to make the corner of my stairwell...:(

My granite is one piece.

say is easy, to get it done its not. mine is 10ft with 5ft for dining and 5ft for storage. I also find its a bit too small but then cannot make it any bigger or else no space to walk.
