Is There A Way To Cut Thru Tempered Glass?

I have a tempered glass as partition between hall and kitchen.

Now, I need re route some electrical switches from the kitchen to the kitchen entrance. However, the glass was fix to the wall/ceiling. Is it possible to drill the tempered glass so that trunking can be use to run through it?

Oh ok... there isn't any gap between the glass and the wall/ceiling....but luckily that time I did request a small hole at the bottom of the glass, it's just that the wiring and trunking need to be route donw adn then up... longer and uglier sight...
