Hommage... Any Comment?

Hello Everyone,

Just to share last week's experience with Eric @ Hommage. FYI, we'd already been to plenty of furniture joints and had already selected the designs we were interested in.

1. 2 queen-sized bed frames (Similar designs, one in brown soft leather the other in micro-velevt with crystals. Price about 30% less than other furniture show rooms)

2. 1 king-sized bed frame (black micro-velvet with crystals. With additional borders so mattress can sink in. Price we were quoted was 40% less than other furniture show rooms)

3. Single bed frame with pull-out (design was selected by my boy)

4. Dining Set (Round black tempered glass table with lazy susan, base wrapped with PVC with crystals, 5 micro-velvet chairs with crystals)

5. Balcony Set (2 rattan chairs with cushions, table with tempered glass. I saw this model from a Chinese outdoor furniture website asked him to bring this model in)

Initially, I was kind of skeptical about catalogue shopping / limited display and even went down for a 'recce' a day before bringing my family down. In fact, I find it quite hassle-free and transparent, best thing is the prices are relatively lower than what you see at other furniture show rooms.

Eric definitely knows his stuff and was very helpful, patient in explaining prices, models, etc. When we had questions, he goes the extra mile to find out so that's a plus.

Delivery is scheduled early Dec so I'll provide pictures on quality then. Cheers!

I have got my dinner table, sofa, now left platform bed havent arrived...

I can only say good service plus excellent quality furniture from eric... Cheap and good...

Just came back from hommage. Found the price reasonable.

Bought a sofa, dining table + 6 chairs, bed frame + mattress and coffee table from them.

Boss Eric is friendly and not pushy. Now awaiting for my reno to be completed for the delivery.

I have received my furnitures from Hommage.

There was a little hiccup of the wrong headboard for bedframe delivered,

i SMS the boss Eric and he resolved and arranged for a change asap.

Overall happy with the furnitures and will go to them again for more stuffs.

Yep, i finally had the time to pay a visit there on friday. Selection from shop not much , as mentioned they go by catalog sales. Eric is very friendly and knows his products and service limitations well.

Apparently, he has been in this business for the past 20 yrs, when i asked him. So, did anyone here had bought and used his products for the longest time possible? I just wana check and confirm the quality of his stuff, after hearing so many positive comments on his service and pricings. Thanks guys!

They have got some interesting dining tables and sofas.

Saw one design of the sofa that was "design" by hommage.

Pricing is pretty reasonable. Will definitely pay them a visit again once my unit is going to be ready.

Service attitude is good as well though location is a bit off.

Hi All

Just to share with you our bedframe shopping experience. We have visited several stores from IFC, IMM, Tradehub 21, Courts, Harvey Norman, Robinsons etc. We finally saw something and decide to settle for at Univonna (Tradehub 21), Slumberland (IMM) or Englander (IFC). Have read bad reviews of some stores and we have mixed feelings. Out of desperation, I chanced upon this thread while googling for recommended bed frames *thank you renotalk*.

Made a trip down to Hommage during CNY period but the store was closed. When we made another trip down again, coincidentally we were attended by Eric. We find him very sincere and honest. Beside the display sets, Hommage has a great range of choices in catalogues. The price that Eric quote was the lowest among our shortlisted stores. Eric did not give us a discount unlike other stores where the price is very elastic even when we told him our family members may also be buying.

The bedframes arrived last Sat and all of us are very happy with the workmanship. Would highly recommend Hommage. Thank you Hommage and Eric for a good shopping experience.

Hi Aidygirl, thanks for the comments. I took a look their their website and quite like the modern design they have. Before reading the tread, was still thinking that it could be more expensive than other stores. Will definately find some time to visit their store.

I spotted an exactly similar bed frame in Courts, and the price is about 30% higher. So getting from Hommage is cheaper
