Can All Be Done In <5 Weeks?

Recommended Posts

I'm getting my keys soon... but have yet to locate an ID firm for my Reno.

My new place is a resale 5 rm @ sengkang. As I am moving from my current place to this new place, I have very fixed time line for this reno, perhaps 5 weeks max... Just wondering if Reno work with all these are possible?

- hacking and re-tiling of Kitchen + 2 bathrooms

- Existing marble flooring in Living and bed rooms, just require polishing.

- Electrician for whole house

- Carpentry works for whole house (feature wall(s) + 2 wardrobes + TV console + kitchen cabinets)

- Painting of whole house

Everything is possible, except your kitchen top (solid surface, granite top etc) are expected to have delay.

Always take a week to rectify any short comings/delays, it can be done in 4 weeks if they have the man power to work 5 days a week.

Some reno company share worker/sub-out their work and this will cause delays.

I've seen a double storey massionet with extensive reno incl floor job completed in less than 4 weeks (off peak)

5 weeks should be long enough. I am doing similar stuff and my ID told me 4 weeks surely can finish.

what I do

1)kitchen, hacking, installing glass, cabinets, hacking floor and wall tile and relay them

2)false ceiling for both living and masterbedder

3)varnishing all floors

4)painting

5)making 2 wardrobes including one walk-in type

6)electric works and curtains, wall papers etc etc..

7)2 TV features walls

8)one full height bookshelf and study tables
