Flooring works :

1) TO Supply & cement screed living area & dining space in range of $2.5 per sqft" @ $1175.

2) TO supply labour only to lay homo floor tiles 600mmx600mm polished @ $3 per sqft for living area with skirting. @ $3326

Total : is : $4501 for 320sqft.

May i know is it EXPENSIVE ?

Next : Acid washing , My Id quoted me $200. isnt it suppose to be free?

But the issue is , i did not do any hacking & do good any wall etc...& also he over-estimate my Sqft ... to 470SQFT (his explanation is include Skirting).

Hi Michellekang07,

1) refers to material - $1175

2) refers to labour & tiles - $3326

Isn't it contradicting?

I did my reno last year. I paid $6000 on Homo tiles for Living, 3 Bedroom, wardrobe and balcony, total 817sqft (75.9sqm). Quote as follows..

C Wet works & general works

1) Supply material & labour to lay 600mm x 600mm super gloss homogeneous floor tiles at |iving c/w skirting (tiles price range $3.00 & below) $3,100.00

2) Supply material & labour to lay 600mm x 600mm super gloss homogeneous floor tiles at 3 bedroom c/w skirting (tiles price range $3.00 & below) $2,900.00

As for acid wash, notice mine was not listed in quotation, however is FOC from my ID. =)

Hi Michelle, talk to more contractors/IDs. Talk to almost 10 at the start. It's not easy. But this is for you to get ideas and price references. Read the forum to see which IDs to stay away from.
