The diff between both is tat 1x HAIKU = 3-4x KDK of the same size.

HAIKU is DC motor and KDK is AC motor.

* Do i need special bracket if above fan to be mounted on false ceiling?

KDK ceiling fan will need to have the U hook bracket, except for the baby fan (M11SU)

As for whether can use it for yr outdoor or not, the fan must e mount on a covered/shelter place/location.
