Sofa - Leather Or Fabric To Get?

sorry to hijack the thread, but wondering what is the material called for those sofa material that looks like PVC? ther is some texture to it, its rather smooth surface, and its of similar surface to: those mordern mahjong or poker table top, or certain notice board, or, in fact there are being used at SMRT newest bus.

Mahjong table top is made of felt. Suede leather is basically split leather with the surface buff to a smooth finish and dyed over it can be quite rough.

In the market there is a lot of fabric called microsuede,it is quite soft to the touch.

comfirm not felt. thats the olden days version. i am refering to the mordern mahjong table. no fur feeling at all. should be some type of pvc or such...

[Anyone gotten white sofa? They look nice in the shop and brand new. But I've been advised to avoid it as it gets dirty easily and it will be very hard to maintain. True??

Absolutely True. A white leather sofa is easier to maintain but still not easy at all. A white fabric sofa is near impossible to take care of.
