durchland 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) Hi all,We are actually facing two problems with our new apartment. First (and marked "A" in the floor-plan below) is the tiny living room. This is due to the over-dimensioned balcony which is about the same size as the living room. Would it be possible to shift the balcony doors by about 50cm towards into the balcony? What are the regulations or does anyone have a better idea since this way i couldn't even put a 2m Sofa into this room.Second problem (and marked as "B" in the drawing) is the position of the toilet in one of the bathrooms. According to the floor plan, the WC should be next to the entrance, but in reality it is shifted towards the bay windows and looks ridiculous with the water tank standing 1.4m just in front of the bay window? What can we do here? Can we ask the developer to change this since it is not in accordance with the original floorplan? ben263 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2011 hi..about shifting of balcony is possible...but you might need to redo abit of tiling and maybe change the frame of the sliding doors...if it's resale, ask the old owner for discounts and just go ahead to change it unless the drawing is not updated....if it's new, developer should take care of it....Hi all,We are actually facing two problems with our new apartment.
