How do we determine the right contractor?

Hi all,

Many calculation are in theory. I just wonder if some one really ever got a contractor to do the tile flooring at cost of $6psf which include

1. Homo tile $3 psf.

2. Cement base

3. labour to lay the tiles.

4. skirting

How much an ID will charge you for tile flooring??

In the beginning, we have full of ideas what we want to do and that but once we meet 1st ID for a quoteation, all our ideas went into the toilet bowl.

It's too expensive and I had thought our saving is enough but never enough
